Happy New Year!

Thursday, January 17th, 2013

Hello and welcome to 2013! Naturally, I’ve managed to fall behind in our “events and activities” list for the month of January so I do apologize for that. I will do my best to be up and running for some fun things to do in February. The first of the year always seems to be a time for refreshing and updating in any office, and ours is not exempt. Please take a moment to view our New Rules for the New Year. In addition, please be aware that we are currently looking at a full schedule up to a week out and are often adding patients to a cancellation list in order to hopefully accommodate everyone. As always, we look forward to hearing from you and seeing you all soon!

December Already?!?

Thursday, December 6th, 2012

Unfortunately this month often gets overwhelming for some with the upcoming holidays, traveling, hosting family, etc. We sincerely hope that you are able to slow down and enjoy some of the December Activities in the area. We would like to thank you all for a wonderful year and for allowing us to get to know you and your families. Please be safe and we look forward to seeing you next year!

November is here!

Friday, November 2nd, 2012

Wow – what a marathon month we have in store! There are SSSOOO many cool November Events to look forward to this month it’s hard to find somewhere to start. We hope you find time to enjoy some of these and to see you soon!

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012

Well, here we are (finally!) full swing into the fall season. The obvious “celebration” at month’s end sometimes overshadows some of the other wonderful things that take place this month. There is so much on the list this month of October Happenings that I actually had to decrease the font size, and I STILL had to leave a few things off. Darn! I’ll try to post again shortly on some of the other great activities that our local farms offer this time of the year. Enjoy!

Wednesday, September 5th, 2012

Whew – we survived another August! Sometimes I wonder how anyone ever lived in the South back in the days before ceiling fans and (gasp) air conditioning. Just kidding! Now that the kids are back to school, and the routines are being established take some time to pencil in a few of the September Activities on your calendar. There’s a lot going on at The Farmers Market this month as well as many other exciting adventures including Bug Fest, The Southern Ideal Home Show and The International Festival. Have fun and we hope to see you soon!

Something to do!

Friday, August 10th, 2012

You KNOW we’re always looking for new and exciting things going on around the triangle. A patient left this morning and told me about the Paperhand Puppet Intervention. I had never heard of it (of course Dr. Hedgepeth has!) and was really excited to learn more and share. They have performances starting this weekend and you can find more general information here. I’ll be sure to get my boys to one of the performances of the season. Hope to see you there!

Wednesday, July 25th, 2012

So this time of year I always tell Dr. Hedgepeth that she better start her Christmas shopping now, because it’s all downhill from here. She always tells me to hush, and then about Mid-November giggles and we agree that we BOTH should have heeded my advice! Either way, if we SURVIVE this heat there really are a lot of opportunities for outings. In the August Activities, you’ll find things from Beer & BBQ to something for the dog lover in us all and just about everything in between. Just because summers starting to wind down, it doesn’t mean that we have to – Enjoy!

Mid-June, Early July…..oops!

Wednesday, June 13th, 2012

So here’s what I get for running my mouth and “bragging” last month….it’s now what, ALMOST half way through the month and I’m just NOW getting this info up. Yikes! I am a bit bummed that I missed some great activities at the beginning of the month. There are some really different and fun things going on in the Triangle in June . You can also find specific events for the local Independence Day celebrations – note the change in “locale” of the traditional Raleigh celebration this year. It looks to be fabulous! Also, keep your eyes open for our next post where I’ll set up a link for recurring events to watch for like concerts, movies, etc. If we don’t see you before, have a great holiday!

May Days!!

Monday, April 30th, 2012

So how about this – I’m EARLY (it IS still just the last day of April!) in posting my “what’s going on” for the month of May. It’s so fabulous that things are warming up and that we’re getting well into the “post-pollen” spring season. Take advantage of the local farmers markets and these other May Days activities. We hope you enjoy your spring – CAREFULLY -  while planting/gardening and to see you in the office or around town.

April’s Activities

Wednesday, April 4th, 2012

Wow, it’s already April – how time flies when you’re having fun, right?!? Plus, it’s easy to get confused about what day/month it is with the weather being SO HOT already. Yikes. I had hoped to have lots of info regarding egg hunts, etc. but the time got away from me so I’m just skipping over that and moving on. I’ve attached lots of great things to do in coming up here in: April Activities. It’s a busy month in the triangle with everything from farm tours and music festivals to art walks and museum news. We hope that you’re able to get out this month and enjoy some of it, and as always hope to see you soon!
