What should I expect on my first visit?
Your visit will begin by filling out the necessary paperwork and supplying your insurance card (if applicable) and photo identification at the front desk. You will then be escorted to an examination room where you will meet with Dr. Hedgepeth. She will collect a thorough history, as well as answer any questions. At that point if agreed upon, she will perform a physical examination and provide treatment or referral as deemed necessary.

How long will my first visit take?
Because we want to give you the best care possible, we ask that you allow 45-60 minutes for your initial visit. This will provide ample opportunity for you to fill out all necessary paperwork, meet with the doctor as well as receive treatment on the same visit. We strive to maintain our schedule in a way that respects your time. We ask for the same courtesy, and request a minimum of a 24 hour notice if you are not able to make your initial visit. We also request a phone call if you will be late to your appointment, as we may have to reschedule you at that time. Please note that we do have a 24 hour answering service where messages can be left at any time.

Will my insurance cover it?
Most policies do have chiropractic benefits although each plan is different and therefore must be checked individually. We do encourage patients to contact their insurance company in advance of the initial visit to verify coverage. At that time, you will also be able to determine if there are any specific requirements or notifications needed prior to treatment. In order to provide you with the most accurate information, your coverage and benefit specifics will also be verified by our office on your first visit as well.

How much will it cost?
As noted above, each individual insurance plan is unique to the member. For this reason, we encourage you to contact your insurance company prior to your first visit. Any out of pocket responsibility would be determined by your insurance plans chiropractic coverage clause, and would be due at the time services are rendered.

For your convenience, we accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard. Please contact our office directly regarding specific requirements for Automobile Injuries and Worker’s Compensation claims.
